'Architecture 101' is a successful film that accumulated 4 million audiences. Many Koreans will be used to SeoYeon's house from the movie. It's the house that Seungmin, the protagonist built for her on Jeju Island, a beautiful house that enfolds the island's magical sceneries of the ocean through the living room's widest windows. 

'Cafe, SeoYeon's House' is located at Seogwipo-city of Wee-miri beach in Jeju island. Designed exactly the way from the movie, this site has grown into another favorite spot for tourists word-to-mouth. No hassle with the parking thanks to its private parking space and on the way from the lot to the cafe is a stone path that welcomes you. 

Inside of the cafe are footprints of the film. Posters and still shots of the movie, plus handprints from the actors and actresses are hung along with a display of the model house young Seungmin crafted for young SeoYeon. Taking a look around will take you back into the film. The cafe is owned by film production 'Myoung Film'. They originally planned to change the site into a scenario work room but re-opened the space as a cafe in 2013 of March in order to share more of the memories of the film with people. 

The ocean view seen through the gigantic glass windows are breathtaking. Like a water-painting, the view depicts something you've never seen before. A great cup of coffee with the view takes you back to what SeoYeon from the film must have felt like. 

Actor Uhm Taewoong who was at the opening ceremony in March of 2013 said, "I'm happy to know a place I could visit with pride in Jeju now. Hope this cafe can be a place for many people who remember their first love and are in love with their first love." The cafe is placed at a quiet and country side of the island, making it even a better place to relax and take a step back. How about visiting here to recall what your first love was like?
