When visiting Byunsan Bando, you have to visit the quarries next to the Gyeokpo port. 

These quarries are the most outwardly extended area of the West seas in Korea, a land formed by strong winds and waves. The piled up layers of landscape, foldings of rocks and soil are all gorgeous traces of mother nature, and also a highly valued site for research on past volcano activities. 

This beach walk view that outlines the way to Gyeokpo port has been shaped and formed by windstorms and crashing waves. The green bushy mountains also bring beauty to the scenery a view quite jaw-dropping. Taking a small cruise can be a reasonable way to enjoy the area but that really depends on your luck with the weather so we recommend you to walk slowly and take in all of what is presented in front of you. 

The rock formations created over years of years is proof of its unimaginably long history. The white sands, clear seas, and the green mountains all add up to a beautiful view with the astounding buildings of rocks. 

When the tides come in and waters fill the area, the rocks get soaked up to the black parts. The rocks keep getting crushed and tumbled by the windy waves, so safety barricades are set up. 

This hour-long walk of quarry park has another fantastic view at the 'Red Wall Cliffs' if you go up north across the beach and along the sand. Let go of yourself into this relaxing and enriching experience of travels.
