Nothing could compare sitting in front of the air conditioner these days as the days are getting hotter but how does a breeze of nature sound instead?

Daebudo's beautiful Haesolgil opened in 2012 of October. Structured by nature in track courses with no artificial facilities, this place has seven paths that lead you to the amazing waves of the West Sea and fields of mudflat. Daebudo is a close island only a couple hour drive from the metropolitan area. It bridges from the mainland, an easy access to visit. The mudflat field that appears during the out waves, the Dullaegil walk on sunset and bountiful seafood will please anyone. 

On the way to Daebudo from Seoul along the Sihwa Seawalls, there's a noticeable tidy rest stop. The parking lots are filled with cars but the rest stop itself isn't so crowded. Most of the people who stop by trail down to the area next to the rest stop where a grand landscape of the ocean opens your eyes. 

From mudflat fields to salt flats, horsing clubs and winery Daebudo has much to enjoy. Haesolgil is one of the must visit sites with a full array of pine trees and salty seashores. Seven total tracks that lengthen up to 74km, each track has its own theme. The most popular tracks are course 1(11.3km) where you can witness the red skies of sunsets at Gubongdo and the seacliffs of BaekakGee at course 6(6.8km). Course 1 is recommended to all tourists in general as it trails along the seashores presenting wonderful sceneries and a smooth path to walk. 

Watching the sunset as you walk down Haesolgil gives an illusion as if you're sinking down with the sun into the sea. The red sun setting is always a glorious and humbling scene to watch but it's even beautiful at Haesolgil. This island with such breath-taking nature is not such a far ride from Seoul, so how about a relaxing visit over the weekend?
