On a silent but cold December night, Jong Hyun left us as the white snow piled over the city. We no longer can hear his breath anymore but K-pop charts are all filled with is music. 

Thus far, all streaming services charted Jong Hyun's songs. From 'End of a Day', 'Breath' sung with Taeyeon, tracks from the artist's solo album 'Story Op.1' and songs produced by the musician such as 'Breathe' sung by Lee Hi is back covering the main charts. It's like the whole nation is grieving the young musician's death by listening to his music. 

Jong Hyun ended his life at a residence hotel in Seoul on December 18th. Not while ago did he perform at his solo concert, so the mass was shocked by his sudden death. 

It is clear listeners are in deep sorrow of losing him, and also missing him greatly. In everyone's heart, Jong Hyun's voice and music are engraved. Words of appraisal wouldn't be as warm as such hearts that truly appreciate what the artist has done. Only wishing for Jong Hyun's way across the rainbow to be free from the loneliness he had to deal on earth. 

At Jong Hyun's funeral, many fellow artists and fans were present to grieve over the loss. The same is happening everywhere online as well. 

On the flip side, some are worried about the press revealing too much information about the singer after his death. Another media shared a footage of CCTV that captured a glimpse of the artist's last day at a convenience store. 

Rest in Peace, Jong Hyun.
