A Pink-Fulfilling Wonderland

[MHN Dannah.Kim]

This is Inwan-dong of Gyeongju in the northern region of Gyeongsang where Cheomseongdae, the astronomical observatory built in the Silla era proudly stands.

Around September, this area turns in to a pink wonderland of pink mully grass all over the place attracting many tourists.

'Capillaris' which means 'like-hair' in Latin, this grass is called 'Pink Mully' in Korea. This grain plant is green in the summer but changes its colors to pink starting September until throughout November in autumn.

From Busan's Wildlife Park, Yangju's Nari Park and even in Tae-an's Green Rich Farm, the pink mully grass covers the fields inviting visitors to come take their life's most mesmerizing photos.

This pink wonderland affair will continue until November.
