Jeju Island is one of Korea's best vacation spot and volcano island that is as beautiful as the Big Island and the Tenerife Canary Island. Jeju is made of the main island in depth of 41km and 8 other small inhabited islands. Udo is one of the biggest islands in Jeju that welcomes visitors all year long thanks to its Olleh path and 8th wonder sites where you can witness the most beautiful sights. 

At Jeju's Sungsan port terminal, you can board on a boat that goes to and fro to Udo. The timetable differs on a monthly basis but the Sungsan to Udo route follows a pretty regular time interval starting 8 AM. The first boat that departs from Udo to Sungsan is at 7:30 AM (7 AM in May through August) following a regular interval as well. The official timetable does record the departing and arriving time on a 30 minute or 1-hour basis but depending on the number of passengers the schedule can change flexibly so you can enjoy a free and less time-consuming Udo trip. 

*Current price for boarding a ship below 25 passengers is deck fee 27,500 won, one way in is 28,000 won, one way out is 27500 won, and round trip 61,000 won. 

You can purchase tickets to Udo once you arrive at the Sungsan port. The shipping charge and entrance fee, terminal charge all can be purchased through a one-way or round trip ticket. The arriving and departing ticket prices vary as well as the tickets for each adult, young adults, elementary and seniors. Once you arrive at Udo port you can rent a bicycle, motorbike or ATV or even walk depending on what makes your trip at its best. If you want to drive in Udo you can ship the car you rented at Jeju and pay extra for its charge. 

Udo's beach roads are known for its beautiful emerald sea and view at Udo-bong. The first beach you reach as soon as you get off Udo port is Hongjodangoe and Haebin beach, called as 'SeobinBaeksa' together. SeobinBaeksa is well-known as a beach covered in coral pieces and sand but the sediments are not coral pieces but piles of Hongjodangoe that were washed up on the shore.  

Driving pass SeobinBaeksa along the shoreline you'll meet 'BongsooDae(Mangroo)'. It's pretty crowded with people who gathered to see the heart that floats upon the blue sea. Lovers will share some photogenic moments and families follow the breeze up at BongsooDae to enjoy the water view. 

Udo's shores are lined with many different beaches. The HagoSudong beach in specific perfectly captures nature's authentic colors. Seeing the water up close is nothing to compare with what is in pictures. 

Udo can be toured around in a half-day course that stops at main attractions or through a day-long tour taking as much time as you'd like to experience the beauty of the island.
